ROMAIN LAPRADE
Our friend Romain Laprade, French photographer, picked up some pieces he liked from our FW21 collection and shot them in his Parisian apartment. The wool sweater in green variations, handmade in Brussels, the bomber jacket in a rust rough wool, the black and white stripes oversized shirt, and the electric green mini shorts made with Japanese satin.
Romain Laprade captures lines and surfaces through his own aesthetic and photographic vocabulary, often drawn from modernist architecture. Minor details, minimalist compositions, marked lights, in numerous photographs accumulated over the last years, capable of bearing alone an exquisite and poetic glance at the world. His photographs have become in a few years a subtle and intriguing visual signature. His style distinguishes itself by focusing on mundane details that he transforms into iconic images.
